Only credit card payments are supported for recurring billing and tokenization.

How It Works

When the customer completes the first payment, Payfast returns a token. You must store this token securely — it is used for all future transactions with that customer.

Subsequent payments are initiated via the Payfast API, and will not require the customer to re-enter their card details.

You can also let users update their saved card details using a secure Payfast-hosted form (see below).
